CDOASS are from Sweden, from Fagersta to be exact. The middle of nowhere and yet a navel of rock music... because the HIVES also come from the small town. Their singer Howlin' Pelle Almqvist was great on CDOASS and so both bands played together in Europe's big rock temples.

"Mainly in different punk variations, but we felt that something was missing, so we started experimenting. We did everything exactly against our habit," says bassist Peter Nilsson. And so, after a long time, this special mixture of synth sounds and punk guitars came about. Call it no wave, wave, electro punk. "Extra fingers" was released in 2005 and was recorded by Christian Falk, who is better known for house productions but has also worked with hip hop legend Notorius B.I.G. and Neneh Cherry worked together. An album that is difficult to describe and took a seat between all stools.
