The band masterfully plays with sound and atmosphere – a successful blend of echoed guitars, the mournful wail of the lap steel guitar, and yearning vocals. It sounds familiar on the one hand, yet disturbingly strange on the other. Delicate, brittle ballads unfold their effect slowly, almost insidiously.
