“2nd” is even more versatile than the debut. A fat production, lots of dynamics and variety, but the trio still embodies the dark, unpolished rock diamond. It tugs and fuzzes, and the gruff sound contrasts with the many catchy melodies. Stylistically between Britpop, Shoegaze, 60s Pop and US Garage Rock. What the ECLIPSED magazine wrote so aptly about the debut is still valid: THE LORANES "they dug through the primordial soup of Rock'n'Roll and whirled up some deep black floating particles". Here the right albums are on the shelf, the references are clear but varied and everything is covered with a fine, dark patina and it smells of smoke, beer and leather... Here we go, all or nothing.
