COOGANS BLUFF have been part of this scene for years, have found their place, and have earned their fans. Choirs, mellotron, polyphonic horn sections, hooklines, the finest guitar riffs. The band takes its time, experimenting. The solo becomes a team sport. COOGANS BLUFF are certainly riding the hip retro wave, but they were there first, and the wave caught them by surprise from behind. They offer the genre an intense and meticulously detailed variation that hasn’t been on the radar before, remaining recognizable and, above all, true to themselves.
