The debut album “Villa” heats up the fuel rods of various genres and subgenres until they glow menacingly. It brings to mind a meltdown of the heavy genre. Here, groovy psychedelic jam sessions collide with the heaviest doom riffs. Instrumental stoner rock is  dramatically staged and celebrated with infectious enthusiasm, before the listener is plunged into relaxed soundscapes to catch their breath for a moment. Occasionally, surf melodies and twangy sounds even burst forth, adding unexpected splashes of color to the dark, metallic landscape.
