Musically, the record is noticeably different from its predecessors: more heavy, more prog, plenty of anger, and a dash of punk, with multi-voiced Alice in Chains-style vocals. And last but not least, splashes of color are added by an illustrious array of guests who visited the studio and contributed solo parts—a departure for SAMAVAYO: Igor Sydorenko (Stoned Jesus), Tommi Holappa (Greenleaf, Dozer), Nick DiSalvo (Elder), and Willi Paschen (Coogans Bluff) didn’t need to be asked twice.
