In the summer of 1997, the band FIREWATER was formed in a Brooklyn basement. And ex-cop shoot cop mastermind Tod A dares a new mixture somewhere between punk rock and Jewish gypsy music... Fans and critics were always enthusiastic and confused at the same time. The press celebrated the new heroes, but stylistic questions remained unanswered to this day. More than a decade and a half and 7 albums later, Tod's sound ideas continue to seem extraordinary.
