What a start. ZHAAT have released a video for their first single. And “Kante” gives us a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming album.

Experimental post-HC is woven together with heavy psychedelic stoner rock to create a soundscape that stands out in its color palette. Scattered oriental melodies and rhythms create a mystical, hypnotic mix that contrasts the heavy guitar walls with a certain lightness. Epic, powerful, and full of contrasts. Floating psychedelic instrumental parts, powerful aggressive vocals, and then again grooving and heavy as fuck. Post HC, alternative, stoner, math rock, doom, psychedelic? Soundscapes condense into atmospheric heights, oriental scales haunt around in an alchemical manner, before the pure energy of the band pulls the ground from under your feet.
