Classic heavy rock with a tremendous understanding of melody, occasionally taking on pop elements. Twin guitars celebrate this understanding of melody excessively, dueling and fueling it, yet everything rests on a solid classic NWOBHM foundation. For their eighth album in eleven years of band history, SPIDERGAWD have chosen a surprising title: “From Eight to Infinity” or “From 8 to ∞.” With this, the band puts an end to the use of Roman numerals, which they had used for their previous seven albums. At least to some extent. Otherwise, much seems familiar, as they remain recognizable with their unmistakable SPIDERGAWD sound and familiar album artwork.
