A four-piece band from Berlin, consisting of international musicians who quickly made a name for themselves in the local psychedelic rock scene. Formed in the early 2020s, they released an EP in 2023, obscure duplicates on the merch table that became collector’s items, then appeared at Desertfest, Void Fest and MW:M Live, supporting bands like Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Minami Deutsch and The Warlocks. They played small tours and shows in Switzerland and Czechia. Then the rhythm section was rebuilt and reorganized, and now they have recorded a debut album that leaves little to be desired.
This is not a short-term studio project, but a band that has grown, found its feet, and honed its craft on stage. The quartet offers a genre-busting form of psych rock, full of fuzz, lots of echo, even more reverb, and above all, plenty of groove and danceable rhythms. Here and there, oriental melodies float above the heavy, powerful riffs, accompanied by unpredictable, genre-crossing freakouts. Last but not least, when Irish frontman Leonard Traynor unpacks his flute, the band crosses genre boundaries with ease.
