Voodoo Beach

Albums
VOODOO BEACH blends opposites, merging them into something uniquely their own. The Berlin-based trio mixes pop melodies with feedback-distorted guitars and the rumble of dark lyrics. Dark—yet full of glitz and glamour. Heavy and noisy—yet fragile pop and poetry. VOODOO BEACH embodies musical contrast. They stand on both sides of the abyss. They sound harder and softer, more personal, more hopeful, and yet darker than ever before. With powerful lyrics, they invite you in only to push you away, seeking to unsettle, provoke, and confront.
In a way, they’re also a new band—despite a long history, an exciting past, and lineup changes, until they finally came together in this formation in 2020. Three years after the release of their debut album “Wonderful Life” and the accompanying tour, VOODOO BEACH are now following up with an impressive album. It’s a fresh start, but they also had lives before the band. Guitarist and singer Heike Rädeker alone has written several pages of indie history, with chapters titled 18th Dye, Wuhling, Steve Albini, John Peel Session, and 24/7 Diva Heaven.
The new album “Wilde Tiere” will be released on January 29, 2027.
