Heute: KRAKE

Three people, six arms, and a sound that lies somewhere between a dusty desert and Berlin’s Kotti. KRAKE plays loud, heavy, riff-driven heavy rock that’s unusually fresh and catchy, drawing on stoner, doom, a healthy dose of punk rock, and a pinch of Lemmy. And it’s precisely the German lyrics that feel out of place in this mix. There’s room for wordplay, a touch of humor, and—above all—choruses that stick in your head like suction cups from the very first listen. Direct, raw, and free of unnecessary fluff.
