Tommy and the Teleboys

Tommy and the Teleboys
“Unique, playful, wild, danceable, groovy, loud yet relaxed, fresh, contemporary” or “Free and ecstatic: music without rules. Intoxicating, playful, and escalating in all sorts of ways.” There have been many attempts to put TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS’ outstanding debut album into words, but for many, the wildly playful chaos was simply hard to pin down.

But don’t let the friendly smiles fool you—they’re dangerous; they don’t just want to play. TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS start off soft and invite you to swing, only to then set off landmines and blast crashing walls of guitar right at your ears. No genre labels or boredom here – just a lot of joy in discovery and experimentation.

Like its predecessor “Gods, Used, In Great Condition”, TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS’ new work “Bits and Pieces, Poorly Explained” (out August 28, 2026) is brimming with self-confidence and creativity. The Televersum sounds contemporary and fresh. Musically, it’s a feverish collage of garage rock, krautrock, psychedelia, fuzz, post-punk, and electronica—full of genre-hopping, irony, and playful escalation.
