KRAKE has gotten off to a remarkable start. Since its formation in 2024, the Berlin-based trio has carved out a solid place for itself in the scene and, with just two singles, has played major stages and festivals such as Stoned From The Underground, Desertfest Berlin, Blue Moon, and the Keep It Low Festival, and was invited by Pothead to open for them at their annual festival.

Three people, six arms, and a sound that lies somewhere between dusty desert and Berlin’s Kotti. KRAKE plays loud, heavy, riff-driven heavy rock that’s unusually fresh and catchy, drawing on stoner, doom, a healthy dose of punk rock, and a pinch of Lemmy. There’s room for wordplay, a wink, and above all, choruses that stick like suction cups from the very first listen… KRAKE drive straight ahead with their foot to the metal; they’re direct, raw, and free of unnecessary baggage. Even the lyrics can switch between German and English without anyone noticing, because frontman Thorsten Rock (sic! That’s his name!) lived in the U.S. for a long time, so he switches between languages effortlessly.
